MEET THE DOCTOR
DR. THOMAS CAMPBELL

BSc Human Anatomy and Physiology
(University of Adelaide, Medical school, Adelaide, South Australia),

Doctor of Chiropractic
(Macquarie University NSW Australia)
Dr. Campbell is originally from Scotland. He grew up in Australia where he attended Adelaide University medical school. In Australia chiropractic education has been fully integrated into the mainstream University system.
This allows for greater emphasis to be placed on a deeper science based, evidence based education than that found in most chiropractic colleges in the United States. American chiropractic schools generally teach about the spine only.
Australian chiropractic schools grew out of the Osteopathic education system, thus they receive supplemental education on all body joints. What does that mean? It means if you have a shoulder, wrist, elbow, knee or ankle injury or pain – That I can help – So call me.
In addition to Dr. Campbell’s education in Australia, he is also one of only three Gonstead trained chiropractors in the D.C. and Virginia metro area.

Dr. Campbell owned and operated two successful chiropractic practices in Sydney, Australia prior to moving to the United States in 2001.
When Dr. Campbell injured his shoulder during Judo training in 2007, he was unable to find a chiropractor that knew how to properly adjust his shoulder and repair the injured soft tissues of his rotator- cuff muscles for full recovery. So, he trained another chiropractor in order to heal himself! Finally, rest-assured, Dr. Campbell will always refer you to a medical doctor if there is a need for medical assessment beyond the scope of his expert chiropractic care.
